United States Constitution Party
The United States Constitution Party is a minor American political party.
Positions
The Party favors restrictions on personal and economic freedom, including legislation against abortion,[1] copyright infringement,[2] recreational drug use,[3] immigration,[4] and "obscenity".[5] The Party also endorses protectionist restrictions on international trade.[6]
The Constitution Party supports every state's switching to a system of electoral vote distribution similar to that used by Maine and Nebraska, which would allocate two of the state's electors to the winner of the statewide popular vote for U.S. President, and the remaining electors to the winner of the popular vote in each Congressional district.[7]
