Talk:Latin American debt crisis

From The Austrian Economics Wiki, the global repository of classical-liberal thought

Can't seem to find a good Austrian resource on this one so far.

  • This mentions offhandedly "The runaway inflation in Latin America in the late '70s and early '80s ... bouts of hyperinflation destroyed Mexican and Argentinian banking systems, causing widespread failures and untold poverty."
  • This needs to be mined for some details.
  • And the Freeman seems to contain something as well.
