Ubiratan Jorge Iorio (born May 25, 1946) is a Brazilian Economist and the author of the first book dedicated to the Austrian School in Brazil: Economy and Liberty: The Austrian School and the Brazilian Economy ("Economia e Liberdade: a Escola Austríaca e a Economia Brasileira").

He is also Founder and Academic Director of Ludwig von Mises of Brazil and Associated Professor of UERJ (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) and Chief Editor of the first Austrian School Academic Magazine in Brazil (MISES: Revista Interdisciplinar de Filosofia, Direito e Economia).
