Greed
Appearance
Greed is the desire to acquire. Arguably, leftists are quite greedy because it is not enough for them that they gain from the transactions into which they are able to engage with willing participants; they seek to acquire more by the use of force as well. Joseph Sobran writes, "'Need' now means wanting someone else's money. 'Greed' means wanting to keep your own. And 'Compassion' is when a politician arranges the transfer."[1]
