Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States, serving from 1829 to 1837. Jackson was an opponent of nullification, and strongly opposed the Second Bank of the United States. Andrew Jackson successfully forced several indian tribes off their land; these series of events were known as the trail of tears and it was his intention to carryout ethnic cleansing by removing indians residing in territory passed the Mississippi river and up to Arkansas territory .
