Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States, serving from 1829 to 1837. Jackson was an opponent of nullification, and strongly opposed the Second Bank of the United States. Andrew Jackson successfully forced several indian tribes off there land; these events were known as the trail of tears and it was his intention carried out ethnic cleansing by removing indians residing passed the Mississippi river in Arkansas terroritory .
