John Maynard Keynes

John Maynard Keynes (5 June 1883 – 21 April 1946) was a British economist.

John Maynard Keynes is the most influential economist and the greatest. His most famous work was a book published in 1936 called The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money which changed the economist profession forever, leading to some serious advancements in economic theory such as the liquidity trap and an explanation for the common market failures. This work laid out the basic economic theory that spawned an interventionist school of economic thought called Keynesianism or Keynesian economics whose proponents are commonly referred to as Keynesians.
