Its 1,417 articles are the Mises Wiki corpus as it stood in February 2014, restored here with full revision history and original authorship. Editing is closed while the project is being rebuilt. Rothbard was an economist and intellectual who made major contributions to economics, political philosophy (libertarianism in particular), economic history and legal theory. He developed and extended the Austrian economics of Ludwig von Mises, and combined it with a fervent commitment to individual liberty. He developed a unique synthesis that combined themes from nineteenth-century American individualist-anarchists such as Lysander Spooner and Benjamin Tucker with Austrian economics. (more...)
