Resource based economics or RBE is a system in which all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude. All resources become the common heritage of all of the inhabitants. The premise upon which this system is based is that the Earth is abundant with plentiful resources and that the practice of rationing resources through monetary methods is irrelevant and counter productive to our survival. RBE was partially used in some of the Occupy Wall Street camps. Proponents of the system claim that under this system, money is replaced by gratitude, trading is replaced by sharing and ownership is replaced by usership in a way that everyone's needs are met.[1]
