Utopia is a pet peeve of mine. I believe that the concept of Utopia has caused or has been instrumental in the deaths of more people than any other single cause. There will always be someone who will object to some facet of a Utopian society if only to the force necessary to achieve such a society. Utopia is a pet peeve of mine. I believe that the concept of Utopia has caused or has been instrumental in the deaths of more people than any other single cause. Concepts of Utopia may appear idealistic but practical application through the ages has always involved imposing some sort of conformity on the individual with the non-conformists being punished or killed through the force of the state.

As long as force is necessary to perpetuate its social conditions, Utopia will never be achieved and, in my opinion, that is a wonderful thing.
