George Reisman is a Professor Emeritus of Economics at Pepperdine University and the author of The Government Against the Economy (1979) and Capitalism: A Treatise on Economics (1996). He serves as a faculty member of the Mises Institute, as well as president of The Jefferson School of Philosophy, Economics and Psychology.
He earned his PhD in Economics at New York University under the direction of Ludwig von Mises.
