The Creative Commons is an organization that has devised eponymous licenses for allowing use of one's content by others. There are several different licenses offered, including copyleft ("share-alike") licenses that require that derivative works be licensed under the same license as the original work, and those that merely require attribution to the original author.[citation needed]
