As was noted in [http://blog.mises.org/14668/we-need-more-monkeys/ this] blog post, other institutions also make good use of &#039;visiting scholars&#039; and other economists. It would be interesting to get some numbers for other large government institutions and estimate their impact on the economic profession. Just a speculation...
